Teoman sells his guitar

Singer Teoman put his 30-year-old guitar up for sale as part of the online Bosphorus Art Society 'Cash on the Table' auction. The artist's guitar found a buyer for 466 thousand TL.

According to the report in Gazete Magazin, all proceeds from the legendary guitar, on which the artist has composed his songs for 30 years, will be donated to the Child Protection Agency.

Teoman had previously announced that he would donate one-quarter of his inheritance to children. Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş also thanked Teoman, stating, "I was very happy to hear that Teoman, a valuable name in our art world, will donate a portion of his inheritance to children under the protection of our state. I thank him for this gesture, which we hope will set an example."
