Tepebaşı Municipality asks for the return of a bench stolen 'for love'
In Eskişehir, Tepebaşı Municipality has requested that a citizen who took a bench home—where they used to sit with their ex-partner—return it to its original location.
An amusing 'bench controversy' took place on the social media platform X.
A young person, expressing their grievances to their ex-partner, posted, "I stole the bench because we sat on it together; did I not love enough?"
The young person also added a photo of the bench they had taken home to their post. It was observed that the bench belonged to Eskişehir Tepebaşı Municipality.
An unexpected quote-tweet came in response to this post. Quoting the post of the young citizen suffering from heartbreak, Tepebaşı Municipality asked for the bench back with a humorous message.
The municipality's post stated, "While we have infinite respect for love and the pain of love, please return the bench to where you took it from."
