A message of support has come from actress Seray Kaya to her co-star Doğukan Güngör, who was removed from the cast of the series Kızılcık Şerbeti, where he had been a lead actor for four seasons. Kaya said, "Thank you for your hard work and for being a wonderful partner, Doğukan."
Actor Güngör, who was detained as part of a drug investigation and stated he was removed from the series Kızılcık Şerbeti because his drug test came back positive, had stated: "With the belief that there is good in every bad situation, I had completely dedicated myself to my work after this recent incident and promised myself to lead a clean life. However, with this bad news I received suddenly this evening, I, like everyone else, have witnessed how ruthless some people and institutions can be when making decisions. Yet, I am neither the first nor the last person in this life to make a mistake. I leave these ruthless people and institutions, who do not carry the belief that everyone deserves a second chance, alone with their consciences and leave them to God."
Doğukan Güngör's unexpected removal from the cast of the series Kızılcık Şerbeti was met with backlash from fans of the show and social media users.
Immediately following Güngör's surprise departure, a post came from his partner in the series, the beautiful actress Seray Kaya.
Kaya, who plays Başak, the wife of the character Fatih in the series, shared a photo of them together with the note, "Thank you for your hard work and for being a wonderful partner, Doğukan."
