US-based research company Empower has published its "Financial Happiness Report." In the study, participants were asked the question, 'Can money buy happiness?'

According to the report featured on NTV, 60 percent of Americans stated that money can buy happiness.

HOW MUCH MONEY IS NEEDED FOR HAPPINESS?

According to the results, reaching a certain level of wealth is seen as the key to happiness. Furthermore, the report determined the cost of financial happiness to be 1.2 million dollars (approximately 35 million TL). In other words, a person with this amount of money in their bank account or safe believes they will be happy.

7 out of every 10 people who participated in the survey say "money solves all problems." The average annual salary expectation of Americans is 285 thousand dollars, which is approximately 8 million Turkish Liras.

Among the Millennial generation, this expectation exceeds 500 thousand dollars annually. The lowest salary expectation belongs to Generation X, at 130 thousand dollars per year.

Survey participants point to bills paid on time, a debt-free life, and daily luxury spending as the path to happiness.
