Details are becoming clear regarding the film project about the life of the artist Ferdi Özbeğen, the pioneer of tavern music in Turkey.
The most curious question regarding the film, which will bring the unknown aspects of Özbeğen, who passed away in 2013, to the silver screen, was who would portray the artist.
It has been agreed that the famous actor Burak Deniz will take the lead role in the film, which is being produced by Orchestra Content.
HE HAS BEGUN PREPARATIONS
Burak Deniz has begun working intensively for the biographical film. The actor is preparing for his role by reading all documents related to Özbeğen and watching videos of the artist.
Filming for the movie is planned to begin in the coming weeks.
While the production company has started a wide casting process for the project, it has been learned that master artists who held an important place in Özbeğen's artistic life, such as Sezen Aksu, Ajda Pekkan, Nükhet Duru, and Tanju Okan, will also be portrayed by a new generation of actors.
