The painful truth that devastated the family before Kadir İnanır's death has emerged

Turkey was shaken by the news that master Yeşilçam actor Kadir İnanır had passed away at the age of 77. However, just before this tragic event, İnanır's sister, Altun Arıca, had also passed away at the age of 95, marking another loss for the family.

Altun Arıca, who was receiving treatment for age-related health issues in the Fatsa district of Ordu, closed her eyes to the world on June 23. She was laid to rest in the Asri Cemetery following a funeral ceremony held at the Hz. Hamza Mosque one day later. At that time, Kadir İnanır was in Istanbul, battling advanced-stage lung cancer and was being treated in intensive care while intubated. For this reason, he was unable to attend his sister's final journey.

The master artist passed away on June 26. The fact that the siblings died just three days apart caused deep sorrow within the family. In particular, Altun Arıca's son, artist Soner Arıca, and actor Levent İnanır experienced double the pain, learning of the death of their uncle, Kadir İnanır, before they had even recovered from the loss of their mother.
