Famous artist Safiye Soyman's son, Harun Akaröz, who had been battling MS, passed away at the age of 47. Soyman bid farewell to her son at his funeral, where she was overcome with tears.
The absence of Safiye Soyman's close friend, Seda Sayan, at the funeral did not go unnoticed.
According to the report in 2. Sayfa, Seda Sayan, who was in America with her husband, searched for a flight ticket to return to Turkey immediately after receiving the tragic news but was unable to find one.
Stating that she was very upset about leaving her friend alone, Sayan said, "There is nothing we can do here other than send our prayers."
