An investigation has been launched by the Büyükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into phenomenon and businesswoman Banu Parlak due to her sharing posts featuring firearms on her social media accounts.
Following the instructions of the investigating prosecutor, police teams conducted a search at Parlak's home, where they seized an unlicensed Glock brand pistol and 9 cartridges.
Parlak was taken into custody and brought to the police station.

The story of how Banu Parlak, who is on the social media agenda, became famous has emerged.
Born in Kastamonu in 1987, Parlak moved to Istanbul after completing high school.
The famous phenomenon became popular through her posts on Instagram where she sang songs inside her car.
Banu Parlak married Okan Öztürk, who is from Rize, in 2017. This marriage ended in divorce a short time later.
Parlak has a daughter from this marriage.
