These three items in your home threaten your health
Gastroenterologist Dr. Saurabh Sethi has stated that three items commonly found in homes carry serious health risks, emphasizing that these items should be removed from the home immediately.
American expert Dr. Saurabh Sethi stated in a social media post that three items commonly used in many homes are dangerous to health and should be removed from the home immediately.

The first item Dr. Sethi draws attention to is scented candles used for decorative purposes. The phthalates contained in these candles can disrupt hormonal balance and lead to respiratory problems. Dr. Sethi recommends choosing natural beeswax or soy-based unscented candles.
Secondly, it is noted that plastic cutting boards can wear down over time and contaminate food with microplastic particles. These microplastics can accumulate in the body, causing hormonal disorders and immune system problems. Dr. Sethi says that wooden or metal cutting boards are a safer alternative.

Finally, it is pointed out that scratched Teflon pans leak substances known as PFAS, or 'forever chemicals.' These chemicals are linked to high blood pressure, cholesterol, and certain types of cancer. Dr. Sethi suggests replacing scratched pans with safer options such as stainless steel or cast iron.
Dr. Sethi states that removing these three items from the home is important for health, saying, 'Review your home and remove these risky items as soon as possible.'
