A lawsuit has been filed against rapper Ekincan Arslan, known by the stage name "Sansar Salvo," seeking up to 1 year and 6 months in prison for the crime of "intentional simple assault against an ascendant" due to violence against his father.

The indictment prepared by the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated that his father, Gazi Arslan, filed a complaint alleging that he was assaulted by his son, Ekin Can Arslan, and that an investigation was launched following this complaint.

The indictment emphasized that Ekincan Arslan admitted to the accusations in his statement during the investigation phase. Furthermore, it was noted that Arslan struck his father in the chest area with his hand, and according to the Forensic Medicine report, the injury was of a nature that could be treated with simple medical intervention.

The prosecution requested that Arslan be sentenced to between 6 months and 1 year and 6 months in prison for the crime of "intentional simple assault against an ascendant." The prepared indictment was accepted by the Anatolian Criminal Court of First Instance.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Ekincan Arslan will appear in court on May 7. As it will be recalled, the rapper, who was detained on April 15 due to domestic violence, was arrested by the court on charges of "simple assault" following police procedures.
