Trailer for the film 'Arap Kadri' released

The film, an adaptation of the 'Arap Kadri' cartoons published in Fırt Magazine in the 70s and 80s, appeals to both adults and children.

Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan, Necip Memili, Zeynep Çamcı, Yalçın Hafızoğlu, Melis İşiten, Birgül Ulusoy, Taner Turan, Cem Zeynel Kılıç, Hira Koyuncuoğlu, Eda Özel, Yaşar Karakulak, Neslihan Yeldan and Sinan Bengier star in 'Arap Kadri', which is produced by PH7, DMC, and NetD.

The film, written by Volkan Öge and Ömer Fikret Şen and directed by Emre Kavuk, underwent 1.5 years of pre-production.

ARAP KADRİ FILM PLOT

Bringing a fresh breath of air to cinema with its unique sense of humor, the film follows the people living in the forest as they face an unbearable water shortage. Tarzan, who seeks a solution, and Arap Kadri, who does not, find themselves in a leadership conflict. Based on a humorous cartoon series, the 'Arap Kadri' film portrays Arap Kadri as a character who is fond of his freedom and refuses to follow rules.

Tired of city life and preferring to live in the depths of the forest, this colorful character is also opposed to the orderly life he encounters.

When his daughter, whose existence he was unaware of, arrives in the forest and asks for her father to be by her side as she takes the first steps toward marriage, our heroes find themselves on the road to Istanbul.

Cinema audiences will have the opportunity to watch a striking comparison of nature and city life through the experiences of Tarzan, who is considered the master of the forest, and Arap Kadri in Istanbul, in a story that is as funny as it is thought-provoking.
