TRT imposes harsh sanctions on Aybüke Pusat over boycott post
Due to a 'boycott' message she shared on her social media account, TRT has decided to remove actress Aybüke Pusat from the cast of the series 'Teşkilat'. This development has led to a significant loss of income for the famous actress, amounting to 500 thousand lira per episode and 2 million lira per month.
Following the arrest of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, protests that began across the country merged with calls for an economic boycott, and millions of users called for a 'boycott' on April 2.
REMOVED FROM THE SERIES TEŞKİLAT
Among the celebrities who made the boycott call was Aybüke Pusat, the lead actress of the series 'Teşkilat' broadcast on TRT. Following the post in question, Pusat was removed from the series by the channel's management.
LOST 2 MILLION LIRA
On the other hand, Aybüke Pusat, who was removed from the series, suffered a significant economic loss. The famous actress was receiving 500 thousand lira per episode and 2 million lira per month from the series, in which she played the character of Neslihan.
OFFER MADE TO ANOTHER ACTRESS
An offer was made to actress Gülsim İlhan Ali, who played the character of 'Dilek' in the series 'Gönül Dağı', another TRT production, to take a role in the 'Teşkilat' series.
