Turabi firmly denied the rumors circulating about him that he would "return to Survivor." A post from Turabi, who has severed ties with the program, has left his fans worried.

'I HAVE CONTRACTED A SEVERE INFECTION'

Sharing a photo taken in his hospital room, Turabi used the expressions, "We came in for a fracture and dislocation, and we were taken to intensive care."

In the continuation of his post, Turabi said, 'I have contracted a severe infection. My lungs were about to fail. We got out of one Survivor, now we are in another.'

WHO IS TURABI ÇAMKIRAN?

Turabi Çamkıran (born July 3, 1987, Mersin) is a Turkish actor, dancer, and fighter.

He was born on July 3, 1987, in Mersin. He is originally from Afşin, Kahramanmaraş. He attended Mersin Toroslar High School and Gazi High School but did not graduate; he finished high school after the Survivor competition. Since his youth, he has been interested in breakdancing, Muay Thai, and mixed martial arts. Later, he won a place at Mersin University Faculty of Fine Arts and graduated from there.

He first participated in the competition "Dans Eder misin?" (Can You Dance?), hosted by Huysuz Virjin, in 2008. He then danced in music videos for Ajda Pekkan, Hande Yener, Fatih Ürek, Yıldız Usmonova, Seren Serengil, Sertab Erener, Petek Dinçöz, Linet, Berksan, İsmail YK, Hadise, Demet Akalın, Ziynet Sali, Hatice, Gülşen, Yonca Evcimik, Atiye, Yavuz Seçkin, Nazlı, Brilliant Dadaşova, Hamiyet, and Aysun Kaya. In 2011, he danced at Club Catamaran in Bodrum.

In 2013, he participated in the "Yetenek Sizsiniz Türkiye" (Turkey's Got Talent) competition and reached the semi-finals. He participated in the Survivor competition, prepared and hosted by Acun Ilıcalı, in 2014, 2015, and 2018. He was on the 2014 Survivor Volunteers team and became the champion. In 2015, he also came in 1st in the Survivor All Star competition, becoming the first person to win the Survivor competition twice in a row.

After the Survivor competition, he acted in several feature films and TV series. He appeared in a public service announcement by the Ministry of Health on encouraging milk-drinking habits in children. In 2018, he participated in the Survivor competition for the third time. He finished the competition in 5th place. In 2019, he participated in the 33rd season of the US-broadcast competition The Challenge, titled The Challenge: War of the Worlds, and became the champion.

That same year, as a champion, he participated in the 34th season of the competition, The Challenge: War of the Worlds 2, and was disqualified in the 10th episode. In 2022, he participated in the 38th season of the same competition, The Challenge: Ride or Dies, and was the 5th person eliminated from the competition.
