TUNCELİ FOR WOMEN, GÜMÜŞHANE FOR MEN
When compared to men, the province with the highest average life expectancy for women is Tunceli, while Gümüşhane stands out for men.
According to TÜİK data, the provinces with the highest average life expectancy across Turkey were determined to be Ankara (79.3 years) and Istanbul (79.1 years). However, when looking at it on a gender basis, the lowest average life expectancy for men was recorded in Kilis (73.5 years), while for women, this figure was also recorded in Kilis at 78.8 years.
