Ufuk Özkan's brother issues 'cannot leave the hospital' statement

Beloved actor Ufuk Özkan, who was diagnosed with cirrhosis in 2023 and has been undergoing treatment for nearly two years, was taken to a hospital in Bağcılar for treatment after his health condition worsened.

According to the report by Eren Gürel from Habertürk; following the development that alarmed his fans, the famous actor's brother, Umut Özkan, made important statements to the press members waiting in front of the hospital regarding his brother's latest health status.

Emphasizing that the process is quite sensitive, Umut Özkan used the following expressions:

"We have had all the necessary tests done, and we are currently waiting for the results with excitement. My brother's condition is unfortunately very serious. Our doctors absolutely do not allow him to leave the hospital until a suitable donor is found. Our only focus right now is the transplant process."
