Ümit Besen responds to Duygu Nebioğlu, who claimed 'My mother went to prison because of him'

Ümit Besen responds to Duygu Nebioğlu, who claimed 'My mother went to prison because of him'

Duygu Nebioğlu, who won the paternity suit she filed against Metin Akpınar last year and has remained in the spotlight with her subsequent statements, appeared on the Müge Anlı ile Tatlı Sert program to find her mother, whom she has not seen for years.

After Nebioğlu said on live television, "My mother went to prison because of Ümit Besen," the artist's response was not long in coming.

'I HAVE NO CONNECTION WHATSOEVER'

Stating that they reached out to Ümit Besen following the allegations, Müge Anlı conveyed his response: "I was bothered by my name being mentioned in such an incident. I have no connection or acquaintance whatsoever with the lady in question. I have been known for my career and my clean record until now. Even though Ms. Müge approached the situation in a clarifying manner, I am bothered by my name being mentioned."

Addressing her mother, Suphiye Orancı, on the program, Duygu Nebioğlu said, "Please reach out to me; even if you don't appear on screen, I want you to contact me. Never mind what anyone says, I have been hearing things for years. End this now. I also want to continue with my life; I hope you will respond to this call of mine. I do not want to leave here feeling hopeless. You will see how strong we are when we come together."

WHAT HAPPENED?

It was revealed that Metin Akpınar, who has been married to Göksel Özdoğdu for 63 years, had twin daughters from a relationship he had 36 years ago. While Duygu Nebioğlu won the paternity suit she filed, the case of her twin, Sevgi Nebioğlu, is still ongoing.

Making a statement after his daughters came forward, Metin Akpınar acknowledged his children and said, "It was a one-night stand. I apologize to my wife. Life does not flow backward."

In an interview she gave recently, Nebioğlu stated that her sister's father was also a famous journalist and that a lawsuit had been filed.

It was revealed shortly after that the famous journalist was Uğur Dündar.

Uğur Dündar, stating that the lawsuit was filed 2 years ago, said that the DNA test performed proved that he was not the young woman's father.
