Ümit Erdim and Seda Erdim have divorced

Ümit Erdim and Seda Erdim, who married in 2017, had recently been in the spotlight due to separation rumors. It was noted that Seda Erdim had begun using her maiden name, Çınar, on her social media account.

It has been confirmed that the couple, who have two daughters named Ses and Ela, have divorced.

The famous couple broke their silence with a joint statement issued through their lawyers:

"Our client Ümit Erdim has decided to end his marriage with his wife Seda Çınar, which they have maintained for years with love and respect, in that same atmosphere of love, respect, and understanding; accordingly, the parties divorced by mutual agreement in April 2024.

Regarding this process, in which mutual goodwill, respect, and understanding between the parties have in no way diminished, it is beyond doubt that negative reports in the press or on social media should not be given credence, and that the parties' sensitivities toward their children and family elders should be respected.

The parties, who have two daughters together, will not make any further statements on this matter, in line with their belief in the family unit and in order to protect their children.

It is respectfully announced to the public that necessary legal action will be initiated against those who engage in actions or make statements in news reports or comments in the press or on social media regarding this process that constitute an attack on the privacy, sensitivities, and personal rights of the parties, or that contain accusations and slander."
