Cinema artist Ahu Tuğba, who was involved in a traffic accident in Los Angeles, America 3 weeks ago, has been discharged from the Catholic Hospital.

Tuğba, whose treatment will continue at home, spoke to journalist Olcay Ünal Sert.

Ahu Tuğba, born Tuğba Çetin (born August 13, 1955, Istanbul), is a Turkish cinema actress.

Ahu Tuğba was born in Yeşilköy, Istanbul, as the only child of a wealthy family. She graduated from the girls' section of the Istanbul American Girls' High School, Robert College. Her cinema career began when director Metin Erksan saw her while walking in Beyoğlu and offered her a role in a film.[3] She entered the world of cinema while she was still in middle school. She left her studies in the English Language department at Concordia University in Canada unfinished.

She began to be recognized in the Turkish cinema world starting from the late 1970s. She gained fame in the early 1980s and became one of the sex symbols of Turkish cinema in the 80s. She generally portrayed characters who were sex workers or drug addicts but had pure hearts. She posed for Erkekçe magazine. She performed various shows as a casino artist. In 1987, she released a music album.

Ahu Tuğba starred alongside famous actors of the era such as Kemal Sunal, Cüneyt Arkın, Tarık Akan, Kadir İnanır, İlyas Salman, Hakan Ural, Yaşar Alptekin, Tarık Tarcan, Burçin Oraloğlu, and Nuri Alço, and was known as a sex symbol in the 80s alongside Banu Alkan, Serpil Çakmaklı, and Müjde Ar.
