Vedat Milor said 'I am not a monkey', support came from Gökbakar and Akalın

Gastronomy writer Vedat Milor reacted to having his photo taken without permission at a restaurant he visited in Istanbul, telling the operator, "Because I am not a monkey performing here. I am not like other gourmets. I come here, and I do not want to be disturbed.

Therefore, let the viewers know, it is no longer a pleasure for me, and I may eventually cut my ties with Turkey entirely," he stated.

Following this outburst by Vedat Milor, the famous gourmet received numerous messages.

While some of his followers disagreed with his comments about leaving the country, figures such as Şahan Gökbakar and Demet Akalın both offered their support and expressed their desire for Vedat Milor to stay in Turkey.

Milor made the following post after the footage, which drew attention and received many comments:

The incident that occurred in my latest YouTube video was not just about taking a photo. I was filmed from different angles for a long time (minutes). During this time, the venue owner was whispering to his employee behind me, 'Take the sign too'. 

This behavior is a type of bullying blended with cunning. Since I was young, I have chosen to act not by thinking, "Oh, what will society say?" but by asking, "How do I deal with bullying?" Because remaining silent in the face of bullying guarantees that the bully will always be the winner.
