Veteran actor Dick Van Dyke becomes oldest Emmy nominee
Veteran actor Dick Van Dyke has earned the title of oldest Emmy nominee after being nominated at the age of 98.
Dick Van Dyke, known for productions such as Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Night at the Museum, and Murder 101, has become the oldest Daytime Emmy nominee.
Among those competing against Van Dyke is Australian actor Guy Pearce from the series "Neighbours."
Van Dyke previously won four Primetime Emmy Awards, including three in the 1960s for the classic comedy series "The Dick Van Dyke Show."
The Daytime Emmys will be presented in Los Angeles on June 7.
