Singer İbrahim Tatlıses’s former manager Şule Yazar has filed a criminal complaint against Tatlıses. Yazar applied to judicial authorities, claiming that Tatlıses subjected her to threats, insults, and psychological violence.

Yazar stated that she has been going through a difficult period psychologically due to pressures that began before her pregnancy and have continued for 8 months. Tatlıses's former manager noted that the threats were veiled, but they have taken precautions against the possibility of them being carried out.

In a statement regarding the matter, Şule Yazar claimed that Tatlıses caused her 'difficulties' and stated the following:

'I would not have wanted this process to reach this point. However, as a mother of 2 children, I had to resort to this path to protect my family and have what I have experienced recorded. We are proceeding with witnesses, evidence, and proof. I am no longer in a position to endure this psychologically.'

Yazar initiated the legal process by submitting the petition prepared with her lawyer to the courthouse.

Describing the process she went through, Yazar added the following:

'There was no situation where he came forward to talk, hold me accountable, or make an explanation. When the threats and insults continued, we decided to take the legal route.'

İbrahim Tatlıses has not yet made a statement regarding the matter.
