Folk singer Turgut Karataş, known by the name Ankaralı Turgut, has been battling cancer for some time. Having lost 13 kilograms in 1.5 months, the singer had been unable to start smart drug therapy due to his financial situation.
A loyalty and fundraising night was organized for Ankaralı Turgut, who moved into his daughter's home.
Following the support provided, Ankaralı Turgut stated in a video he posted on social media that he has disowned his children, who wanted to take the money collected for his treatment.
"WE ARE SUPPORTING SONS-IN-LAW WITH FATHER'S MONEY"
The folk singer rebelled against his children as follows:
"They have been living off my money for 27 years; have they ever earned any money themselves? We are supporting sons-in-law with father's money! My son, Özlem, Hasret, they are all the same... They have formed a gang. Have they ever eaten money earned honestly? They are threatening me to take the drug money collected for me. They are liars and slanderers. Let everyone know this."
