Social media influencer Nihal Candan has passed away after being hospitalized at 29 kilograms due to anorexia nervosa and subsequently dropping below 25 kilograms. Candan, who had refused to eat, had been receiving treatment in intensive care. The news of her death, following a cardiac arrest on June 19 that was initially reversed, was shared on social media by Dilan Polat's sister, Sıla Doğu.
Upon receiving the news of her sister's death, Bahar Candan broke down in tears and suffered a nervous breakdown. Nihal Candan had been released from prison after 5.5 months following accusations of fraud and money laundering, after being diagnosed with anorexia nervosa. However, unable to regain her health, Candan completely stopped eating due to the illness and refused further intensive care treatment.
THE LIFE OF NİHAL CANDAN
Born on June 15, 1995, in Mersin, Nihal Candan was a graduate of the Beykent University Faculty of Law. Candan entered the television world in 2014 with the competition "Bu Tarz Benim" and became widely known through "Survivor 2016." Arrested in 2023 on charges of fraud and money laundering, Candan was released after being diagnosed with anorexia nervosa in prison and began receiving treatment in a hospital.
