Defne Samyeli speaks clearly: I am angry and I am complaining

Defne Samyeli attended the fashion show organized by fashion designer Amor Gariboviç at the Venice Palace, accompanied by her daughters Derin and Deren.

Amor Gariboviç, whose designs are worn by many famous names such as Hande Erçel, Sibel Can, Sıla, Hadise, Nesrin Cevadzade, Burcu Esmersoy, Çağla Şikel, Derya Uluğ, and Zeynep Bastık, showcased his "Phoenix Bloom" couture collection at a fashion show held at the Venice Palace on October 8.

While many famous names attended the fashion show, Defne Samyeli was among the celebrities who arrived with her daughters, Derin and Deren Talu.

Samyeli evaluated the current agenda to the microphones extended to her and pointed out the difficulties of living in Turkey as a woman.

Defne Samyeli, a former news anchor, said the following:

“I am so angry… We cannot enjoy the food we eat, the seats we sit on, nor do we feel safe! People are being thrown into prison for speaking two words on the street. Someone with 26 criminal records murders our young police officer. They do not protect women. As a citizen, I am very much complaining!”
