80-year-old actress Filiz Akın, who starred in numerous unforgettable projects including 'Ankara Ekspresi', 'Yaralı Kalp', 'Cilveli Kız', 'Yumurcak' and 'Gurbet Kuşları', has been hospitalized.
Akın, who was taken to a private hospital in Istanbul due to a severe cough and high fever, was discharged after receiving treatment for a short period.

Providing information about her health status after being discharged, Filiz Akın said, "I am on the road to recovery."
