He beat and stabbed him, then filmed him while he was wounded: 'They insulted my mother and sister, everyone will be honorable'

The incident occurred in front of a residential complex on Mustafa Deniz Street in the Merkez neighborhood of the district. According to allegations, M.G. (49) was beaten and stabbed in the leg by the suspect A.T.E. (21).

Upon notification of the incident, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area.

While the suspect fled, medical teams provided initial intervention to M.G. and transported him to the hospital by ambulance. Following the prosecutor's instructions, a search of the area led to the recovery of the knife used in the incident in the garden of the residential complex.

Under the instructions of the Anamur Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the police launched an operation to apprehend the suspect who had fled after the incident.

A.T.E., whose location was determined by the District Police Department teams, was caught following a pursuit.

The suspect was referred to the Anamur Courthouse on charges of 'attempted murder'. The suspect was brought before the court and was arrested and sent to prison.

A video has emerged showing the arrested suspect explaining the crimes he committed while filming the person he had beaten and stabbed with his mobile phone camera.

In the video containing footage of the wounded person, the suspect is heard explaining that he carried out the act because he was insulted, saying, "I beat him, I stabbed him, they insulted my mother and sister, everyone will be honorable. Look, look, he is dying."

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
