İlker Aksum tearfully explains why he could not attend Şinasi Yurtsever's funeral
While friends from the arts community did not leave the late actor Şinasi Yurtsever alone on his final journey, his close friend, actor İlker Aksum, was unable to attend the funeral ceremony. Aksum explained the reason for his absence in a video he shared, while in tears.
A funeral ceremony was held at the Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque following the noon prayer for actor Şinasi Yurtsever, who passed away at the age of 51 while undergoing treatment for stomach cancer.
In addition to Yurtsever's family and relatives, many famous names attended the ceremony. After the funeral prayer, Yurtsever was taken to the Zincirlikuyu Cemetery to be laid to rest.
İLKER AKSUM COULD NOT ATTEND THE FUNERAL
One of Yurtsever's close friends, İlker Aksum, did not attend the funeral. Aksum explained on his social media account why he could not attend his close friend's funeral.
"MY FRIEND, FORGIVE ME"
Unable to hold back his tears in the video, İlker Aksum said, "Friends, I am 53 years old and I have been in this profession for 35 years. For the first time, I am complaining about my profession. Today is the funeral of one of my closest friends in life, Şinasi Yurtsever, and I cannot be by his side. Because if I don't do my shoot today, the broadcast won't happen. 150 people won't get paid. What can I say? My dear Şinasi, my brother, my soul, my friend, forgive me."
