Sevim Emre, the wife of famous arabesque music artist Orhan Gencebay, experienced tense moments with her neighbor at their waterfront residence in Sarıyer Baltalimanı. While the reason for the argument remains unclear, footage of the incident was recorded by another neighbor.
In the video, despite the efforts of a person trying to intervene and calm the parties down, Sevim Emre is seen responding harshly to this individual. The moments when Emre tells the person intervening to "Get out of here!" while making physical contact also drew attention.
The waterfront apartment where the couple Sevim Emre and Orhan Gencebay have lived for a long time had previously made headlines with claims that it would be put up for sale at the beginning of the year. However, Emre had denied these claims in a statement.
