13-year-old Batuhan Şahin has lost his life after falling from the 11th floor of the building where he lived in Istanbul's Büyükçekmece district. Police have launched an investigation into the child's death while conducting an examination at the scene.
In Istanbul, a heartbreaking incident occurred at a residential complex in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood of Büyükçekmece.
Batuhan Şahin (13), who lived in a 16-story building, fell from a window on the 11th-floor stairwell into the garden for reasons yet to be determined.
MEDICAL TEAMS DISPATCHED
Upon notification by those nearby, medical and police teams were dispatched to the site.
CPR WAS PERFORMED BUT...
Medical personnel performed CPR on Şahin, whose heart was found to have stopped. Despite being rushed to the hospital and receiving medical intervention, Şahin could not be saved.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED
Police have launched an investigation into the child's death while conducting an examination at the scene.
