HE KISSED PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN'S HAND
Famous folk singer Yavuz Bingöl kissed the hand of President and AKP Chairman Erdoğan. Those images became a trending topic on social media.
'I WILL BE BY HIS SIDE UNTIL MY LAST BREATH'
In an interview he gave to a newspaper in 2016, Yavuz Bingöl said the following:
"My closeness with Erdoğan bothered some people. Is it a crime to love Erdoğan? I love his stance. Erdoğan stood by us at a time when everyone was attacking him. When I mentioned the Ahmet Yesevi musical to the President, he stated that we should implement it immediately and that he would provide the necessary support. We are preparing an international musical to introduce Ahmet Yesevi, who also influenced Mevlana, together with foreigners."
