Volkan Demirel, rumored to be divorcing, expresses desire for a son: 'There is one empty spot left'

A statement has come from Volkan Demirel, who was rumored to be divorcing his wife Zeynep Sever Demirel. Stating that a divorce is not on the agenda, Demirel also mentioned that he would like to have a son. 

Volkan Demirel responded to the allegations on the Hadi Anlat program:

"MARRIAGE IS LIKE A LONG LEAGUE MARATHON"

"We have been married for 14 years. Marriage is like a long league marathon. We are a family that can make decisions together about everything. Of course, there are occasional clashes. If every marriage were all sunshine and roses, there would be a problem in that marriage. We are in our 14th year. We will go on for another 14-15 years like this.

I used to be a bit impulsive, Zeynep has matured me. Zeynep is my biggest critic,” he said.

"MAYBE WE WILL HAVE A SON"

Explaining the secret behind the film strip tattoo on his arm, Volkan Demirel said, “There is one empty spot left there. We left it maybe in case we have a son.

We'll see, it's fate. I like getting tattoos. My daughters' names are written on my hands. I had them all done with great love and desire,” he said.
