Show TV's popular series Kızılcık Şerbeti aired its 34th episode on Friday evening, October 13.

The dialogue between the character Kıvılcım, played by Evrim Alasya, and the new school administrator has become a hot topic on social media.

"IT IS NOT PLEASANT FOR OUR VOLLEYBALL TEAM TO RUN AROUND WITH BARE CALVES"

"We couldn't continue with the old system; we had to make some changes," said the new school administrator, continuing, "Dress code, for example... Our female students' skirts should reach their ankles; one cannot come to school in such short skirts. Furthermore, our school has a champion volleyball team, which is wonderful. However, it is not pleasant for them to run around on the courts with bare calves. We are from a conservative background, and for this reason, we want things to be conducted within this framework at our school."

Reacting to these words from the school administrator, the character Kıvılcım said, "I do not belong to any family or any ideology. I am a warrior for only one thing, and that is education and training. I have dedicated my years to an education system where our girls can learn willingly and eagerly, without being under pressure."

"WHY ARE YOU SO AFRAID OF WOMEN?"

Later, when the school administrator said, "We want this too, free education. Let our veiled girls study comfortably, let them not feel uncomfortable in their environment," Kıvılcım replied, "Sir, you are the one who is uncomfortable with this situation. Look, even the volleyball team seems 'bare' to you. Why are you so afraid of women? You realize this has nothing to do with religion or faith, don't you? Besides, why would a veiled girl be bothered by a girl in a miniskirt next to her?"

The character Kıvılcım stated, "It is so painful to think of someone as bigoted as you being a school administrator. While we have been working ourselves to the bone for years for the education of girls, unfortunately, we haven't made any progress because of people like you." The character then announced she would resign and left the room.
