Deniz Uğur informed his fans about her husband's condition with a statement she made on her social media account:

"Let our loved ones know; it was going to leak to the press eventually, and so it did... It is true that my husband had a heart attack, but thank God we have overcome this as well. Endless thanks to our precious physicians at Siyami Ersek Hospital. We were discharged today, we are home now, resting. Life is shared, we heal each other in turns. In spite of the bad, no more worrying about anything, Erdinç Gülener. By the way, shall we all read and blow [prayers] together, friends? I know the power of your breath, our breath, so well... May God always grant health, healing, and well-being."

WHO IS ERDİNÇ GÜLENER, HOW OLD IS HE?

Erdinç Gülener was born on January 26, 1971, in İzmit. After completing his primary, secondary, and high school education in İzmit, he was accepted into the Ankara University Faculty of Language, History and Geography, Department of Acting in 1993. After graduating in 1997, he won the exam held by the State Theaters and began his acting career at the Trabzon State Theater.

Appointed to the Ankara State Theater eight years later, Gülener has been a member of the Istanbul State Theater artist staff since 2014. He played the character of "Inspector Kane" in the series titled Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu, which aired during the 2013-2014 season, and left the series when his character died in the 220th episode. Subsequently, he portrayed the character of "Commissioner Ünsal" in the series titled Kertenkele between 2014 and 2016.

Gülener has also worked as an acting instructor at the Ankara University Faculty of Language, History and Geography, Department of Theater.
