Former belly dancer Tanyeli has passed away due to long-term health issues. The artist had recently shared updates about her health status on social media. However, Tanyeli, who had been battling pancreatic cancer for 2.5 years, lost her life at the hospital where she was receiving treatment. 

TANYELİ'S ILLNESS AND PASSING

Tanyeli had been battling pancreatic cancer for 2.5 years. The artist, whose health condition became critical in the recent period, had been receiving treatment in the hospital for 4 months. In a post on her social media account on February 27, 2023, she had said, "I am in the hospital, God willing, I will be discharged today or tomorrow." However, despite the treatments, Tanyeli succumbed to pancreatic cancer and passed away.

WHO IS TANYELİ, WHEN WAS SHE BORN?

Tanyeli, a belly dancer whose real name is Öznur Kral, was born in 1969 in İzmir. Tanyeli, who had a difficult childhood, grew up in an orphanage after her parents separated when she was only two years old. The artist, who married for the first time at the age of 14, gave birth to her son Taylan at the age of 15. After separating from her first husband, Tanyeli married for the second time and began living in Australia starting in 1996.

In 2014, Tanyeli married Bursa-based businessman İlker Sünnili and held a small wedding ceremony in Bodrum. Later, the couple held a wedding in Australia and continued to live there.
