It was reported that psychologist Volkan Uçak, known on social media for his hypnosis sessions and referred to as the "Phenomenon Doctor," is among those arrested. During the investigations, allegations surfaced that the diploma Uçak used was not valid and was fake. So, who is Volkan Uçak? WHO IS VOLKAN UÇAK?

Among those arrested is Volkan Uçak, who is known to the public with the title of "Doctor." It was determined that the Ege University Psychology undergraduate diploma and the Clinical Psychology Master's diploma used by Uçak, who is known for his hypnosis sessions and high session fees, are not valid.

Uçak, who gave his statement as part of the investigation, admitted that he did not have any undergraduate or master's degree obtained from Turkey, while claiming that he completed his education at the University of Dublin.

However, according to official information received from the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), it was reported that there is no record of any exam or diploma registered under the name of Volkan Uçak. Furthermore, findings indicating that he obtained a fake diploma from Ege University in exchange for money were also included in the investigation file.

20 SUSPECTS ARRESTED

The suspects, whose procedures were completed at the Cyber Crimes Branch, were referred to the Ankara Courthouse to give their statements. For 39 of the suspects who gave statements to the prosecutor conducting the investigation, arrest was requested, while judicial control was requested for 11 of them.

While 25 of the suspects brought before the court were released on the condition of judicial control, 20 people were arrested and sent to prison.
