Normally, the Ramadan Feast holiday lasts 3 days, and the Eid al-Adha holiday lasts 4 days. Last year, the holiday duration was extended to 9 days with an administrative leave. EYES ON THE CABINET MEETING
The Presidential Cabinet Meeting was last held on Monday, March 10. Cabinet meetings are held every two weeks, and President Erdoğan announces the decisions made after the meeting in a live broadcast. Last year, 1.5 days of administrative leave were added to the holiday, extending the duration to 9 days.
This year, the holiday will begin on a Sunday. Due to the holiday coinciding with the weekend, eyes have turned to the Cabinet Meeting. President Erdoğan is expected to announce decisions regarding the holiday after the meeting. Unless there is a change in the calendar, the next Cabinet Meeting will be held on March 24.

HOW MANY DAYS WILL THE HOLIDAY BE?
According to official holiday decisions, there will be a total of 3.5 days of official holiday, including the eve. If it is decided to combine the holiday with the weekend, the holiday, which starts on Saturday, March 29, will end on the evening of Wednesday, April 2. In this case, a 5-day holiday will be possible.
The Ramadan Feast holiday usually begins as a half-day holiday for public employees on the eve and continues until the last day of the feast.
