Ahmet Tatlıses had previously filed a lawsuit claiming that his father, İbrahim Tatlıses, was not of sound mind and requested to be appointed as his legal guardian.

İbrahim Tatlıses did not leave his son's move unanswered.

The singer filed a lawsuit against his grandson, Mert Tatlıses, alleging that he had been occupying his apartment in Sarıyer without his consent for 6 years.

VERDICT REACHED IN THE CASE

The court found Tatlıses to be in the right in the case, which had been ongoing for two years. The court ordered Mert Tatlıses to vacate the apartment belonging to his grandfather and ruled that he must pay 370 thousand 346 TL in compensation for unlawful occupation.

'HE SHOULD LEARN HOW TO BE A FATHER'

Speaking to Kanal D Ana Haber following the verdict, the 72-year-old singer, whose anger remains, said, "I cannot give my house to my daughter while I have a house. Is there such a thing? But I will give it now. Won't his father rent a house? Let me see, let's see what kind of father he is. He should learn how to be a father."

Stating that he continues to provide for his daughters, the singer added, "I cannot give a house to his child while my own child is paying rent. I am taking care of my two daughters and my grandchildren. I am sending their rent money. I will give my land in Urfa to a contractor. It will yield 100 apartments. I will give 5 houses to each of my daughters."

When asked, 'How is your relationship with your grandson?', İbrahim Tatlıses replied, "There is no problem between me and my grandson, but there might be from now on."
