Woman falls from bridge and is swept away by current
In the village of Cevizlidere in Muş, a woman who lost her balance while crossing a bridge and fell into the stream was swept away by the current and disappeared. Search and rescue operations have been launched in the area.
The incident occurred in the village of Cevizlidere. Gül Yıldız, who is reported to be around 50 years old, lost her balance and fell into the water while crossing the bridge.
The woman was swept away by the current and disappeared from sight shortly after. Upon notification, Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) teams, the gendarmerie, and security forces were dispatched to the area.
Teams have begun search and rescue operations along the stream bed and its surroundings.
It was reported that the operations are being conducted with caution due to the strong current in the region.
While Gül Yıldız has not yet been located, it was stated that the search and rescue efforts by the teams are ongoing.
