Public bus exclusively for women hits the road
In the Pakistani city of Karachi, a pilot project for public buses exclusively for women has launched with a ceremony. The pink buses aim to protect women from harassment by men.
In speeches delivered at the ceremony, it was stated that women will be able to ride the pink-colored buses for free for the first two months.
The drivers of the buses will also be women.
