Lori and George Schappell, the world's oldest conjoined twins, whom doctors predicted would live no longer than 30 years, have passed away at the age of 62 after living a challenging life.

Living in Pennsylvania, the twins were joined at the skull and shared 30 percent of their brains.
CAUSE OF DEATH NOT DISCLOSED
The cause of death for Lori, who was female, and her brother George, who transitioned to male, was not disclosed.
The twins, whom doctors predicted would live for a maximum of 30 years, surprised their family by living to the age of 62.
THEY TRAVELED TO MANY COUNTRIES
George performed many concerts as a successful country music singer, which allowed the twins to travel to many countries, including Germany and Japan.
The Schappell siblings became the world's oldest conjoined twins following the death of Masha and Dasha Krivoshlyapova in 2015 at the age of 53.
