Teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Narcotics Crimes Investigation Branch determined that Yusuf Güney, who participated in a program broadcast on a digital platform, used expressions promoting 'Ayahuasca Tea'.
Investigations revealed that the DMT substance found in 'Ayahuasca Tea' is among the prohibited substances.
Following the investigation, Güney was taken into custody today.
Güney, who was referred to the courthouse, was arrested by the court he was brought before.
