Zafer Algöz: 'People no longer have any entertainment due to economic reasons'
Theater, film, and television actor Zafer Algöz was spotted in Nişantaşı the other day. Making candid remarks, Algöz said, 'People no longer have any entertainment due to economic reasons.'
Veteran actor Zafer Algöz was in Nişantaşı the other day.
Algöz made striking observations regarding the decline in cinema audience numbers and box office revenues.
'THE REASON FOR THE DECLINE IN CINEMA IS ECONOMIC'
Zafer Algöz stated, "Because people have no entertainment left due to economic reasons, they are forced to watch TV series," and added the following:
"People's only entertainment is TV series... The cost for a family of four to go to the cinema is 1,000 TL... Including transportation and the car, believe me, it comes to 1,000 TL. The reason for the decline in cinema is economic. Instead of a family paying 1,000 TL for one movie, they subscribe to 3-4 digital platforms."
