Answering questions from Tuğba Kalçık of Günaydın, Özer said she was lynched for saying, "I love Erdoğan." Stating, "My mental health was ruined for months," Özer used the expressions, "My concerts were canceled. I was exposed to very harsh accusations on social media."

"I COULD NOT ATTEND 40-50 OF MY CONCERTS DUE TO MY ILLNESS"

Speaking about her health, Özer said, "Thank God I am better now. I was having constant dizziness; I thought I had vertigo. When my dizziness increased significantly, my doctor examined me. There is a 70 percent narrowing in the right artery of the cerebellum and a 30 percent narrowing in the left. I started treatment. I am much better now. This illness made me incredibly unstable. Because of my illness, my mouth became crooked and I walk with incredible instability. Those who see me might think I am drunk. Because that is how it looks. I take my medication regularly. I could not attend 40-50 of my concerts due to my illness. But I will do them in the coming time."

Özer spoke as follows about her new projects:

"All the new songs are projects prepared for me by my right-hand man İlhan Özer, who has been by my side for 25 years. I wanted to address and reach out to Generation Z, in addition to Zerrin Özer's listeners. I thank all my listeners who embraced my song 'Basit Numaralar', whose success has gone beyond the country's borders. Very soon, I will meet my fans with my record 'Zerrin Özer / İmza', which consists of nine songs, all written and composed by my dear arranger Mustafa Arapoğlu. At first, I wondered if my song 'Basit Numaralar' would work. But then it became a song that I said 'I'm glad it happened.' Everyone embraced and loved it. It is a magical song. Watching 1.5-year-old babies in this country being put to sleep with this song as a lullaby made me very happy. These are very precious things. All my songs, each different from the other, will come one after another. But we will also have surprise projects."

"I WANT SERENAY TO PLAY ME"

When asked, "Do you want your life to be made into a film?" Özer gave the following answer:

"Yes, but I want the script to come from the hands of a very good editor. I would also like Serenay Sarıkaya to play me. I love Serenay very much. I hope my film will be shot in the coming days."

"OUR PRESIDENT IS A GOOD AND LOYAL PERSON"

When reminded of the statements she made in the past about AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Özer said:

"I do not categorize people according to their positions or status. I look at whether they are good or bad. Our President is a good and loyal person. He took close interest in me during the period when I was experiencing health problems. This is very important to me. I was subjected to a very severe lynching in the past because I said I love our President. I am not a self-serving person. I have never acted according to my own interests throughout my life. Sincerity is very important. I expressed my feelings sincerely. My mental health was ruined for months. My concerts were canceled. I was exposed to very harsh accusations on social media. There is no room for hatred in my life. That is why it is impossible to understand this lynching directed at me."
