Zeynep Bastık: 'I am thinking of becoming a mother while I still have the energy'

Zeynep Bastık appeared before the cameras the other day at the launch of the brand she is the face of. According to a report by Habertürk, Bastık answered questions from members of the press and shared her thoughts on makeup and cosmetic products.

Bastık said, "I don't spend huge amounts of money on cosmetic products. I like makeup, but I prefer to stay within my limits. I don't do heavy makeup; I just like to add some color to my face. Sometimes I can go out without makeup. I don't have an obsession with wearing makeup," she said.

Regarding her shopping habits, she stated that she does not shop as much as she used to: "I avoid unnecessary spending. Now I only shop when I need to. Lately, I spend most of my money on food," she said.

The singer, who once acted and took part in various TV series projects, also spoke about her acting career: "My music career is my priority right now. I gained acting experience, but I am currently focused on music. Still, if the right project and the right time come along, I would like to take part," she said.

When asked if she would take part in a project with her partner, she replied, "This question is asked a lot, but we don't want to. We don't like being in the spotlight, and I also believe in the evil eye. We are moving forward on our own path," she answered.

When reminded of her statements from recent weeks regarding her desire to have children, Zeynep Bastık said, "I am thinking of becoming a mother while I am young and have the energy. When we want to have children, I would like there to be a marriage, but I don't see marriage as a mandatory thing. The idea of joining my life with the right person at the right time seems romantic to me. I don't believe that marriage kills love; it is entirely a personal situation," she expressed.
