Artist Zülfü Livaneli: 'Standards of value have been shaken'
Renowned artist Zülfü Livaneli drew attention with his remarks during a program he attended. Livaneli stated, "Today, standards of value have been shaken. I refuse to conform to such a world."
Zülfü Livaneli was a guest on the program 'Empati', hosted by Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan.
Sharing the news about a museum to be opened in his name, Livaneli stated that the "Zülfü Livaneli Museum" will be opened at the Ortaköy Cultural Center, which also houses the Afife Jale Theater.
Regarding the museum, which is being produced by Sunay Akın, Zülfü Livaneli offered a humorous remark: "I am hereby admitting that I have become a museum piece."
'NO RESPECT LEFT'
Expressing that social values are being lost rapidly, Livaneli stated, "Standards of value have been shaken. Concepts like honesty, kindness, and cleanliness have disappeared. There is no longer any respect for one another in human relationships. I refuse to conform to such a world."
