13-year-old girl found dead in her father's home

A young girl was found dead in her father's home in the Çorlu district of Tekirdağ. According to the information received, relatives of A.Y. (44), who lives in the Hatip neighborhood, notified the police after suspecting he might attempt suicide based on a post he made on his social media account.

Following this, police and medical teams were dispatched to A.Y.'s home. The door was opened by the teams with the help of a locksmith.

Medical teams determined during their check that A.Y.'s 13-year-old daughter, S.Y., who was in the house, had lost her life.

A.Y., who was found injured with his wrists cut, was taken to Çorlu State Hospital by medical teams.

It was determined that A.Y. had separated from his wife some time ago and had made a post on his social media account holding his ex-wife responsible.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
