17-year-old shot over 'neighborhood headman election feud'
In Samsun, a 17-year-old was hospitalized after being attacked with a pump-action shotgun due to a 'neighborhood headman election feud'.
The incident took place in the İlyasköy neighborhood of the İlkadım district.
According to the information obtained, M.B. carried out a pump-action shotgun attack on 17-year-old H.İ.T., with whom he had a feud dating back to the neighborhood headman election period in the rural neighborhood of Gölalan in the Canik district.

The child, who was shot in the waist, was taken to Samsun Training and Research Hospital by ambulance and placed under treatment.

The injured child stated, "I came to the city to get my mobile phone repaired. M.B., with whom I have a feud due to the neighborhood headman election, attacked me with a pump-action shotgun and fled."
The police have launched an operation to capture the fleeing attacker. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
