23 students hospitalized after falling ill at school
In the Edremit district of Van, 23 students were hospitalized after falling ill from food they consumed during a program organized for Domestic Goods Week.
In thedistrict, at Mehmet Akif Inan Primary School, during a program organizedfor Domestic Goods Week, 23 studentsbegan experiencing symptoms of nausea and vomitingafter eating food.
The school administration, noticing the situation,immediately called the 112 Emergency Call Center to request medical assistance.
Following this, ambulances and medical teams thatrushed to the scene provided initialtreatment to the studentson-site.after eating, they weretaken to the Yüzüncü Y ıl University Dursun Odabaş Medical Center and Van Training and Research Hospital. It was stated that an investigation into the matter has been initiated.
