4 people detained at Nevruz celebration in Tatvan
In the Tatvan district of Bitlis, 4 people were detained while attempting to enter the area during a Nevruz program organized by the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) while carrying pieces of cloth symbolizing a terrorist organization.
A March 21 Nevruz event was held at the Fair Rally Ground, organized by the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party). The program was attended by DEM Party Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları, DEM Party Bitlis MP Hüseyin Olan, DEM Party mayoral candidates, and hundreds of citizens.
Police teams detained 4 people who were attempting to enter the area with pieces of cloth symbolizing a terrorist organization.

"4 INDIVIDUALS HAVE BEEN DETAINED"
In a statement shared on its social media accounts regarding the matter, the Bitlis Governor's Office stated, “A March 21 Nevruz event was held today between 10:00 and 14:15 at the Fair Rally Ground in the Tatvan district, organized by the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party).
During security checks conducted in and around the area due to the event in question, 4 individuals attempting to enter the area with rags symbolizing a terrorist organization were detained.”
