80-year-old driver survives after car flips over
In the Kuşadası district of Aydın, an 80-year-old driver who reportedly swerved to avoid a concrete mixer entering the road survived after his car flipped over.
The accident occurred on Göcek Kavağı Road in the Değirmendere neighborhood of Kuşadası district. According to the information obtained, the driver of the car with license plate 09 AAJ 974, identified as S.M. (80), allegedly made a sudden maneuver to avoid a concrete mixer that suddenly pulled onto the road from a construction site while he was driving.
During this maneuver, the car hit a large rock on the side of the road, flipped over, and landed upside down. It was learned that the driver, who managed to exit the vehicle on his own, escaped the accident with minor injuries.
Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
The driver, who was taken to Kuşadası State Hospital for a check-up, is reported to be in good health.
Police have launched an investigation into the accident.
